After reading an amazing post, I have decided to do a tribute post. This one is for you, Megan Klie(vv)er.
Boom. I once got a bead stuck in my ear and it cost one hundred dollars to remove. I was supposed to be a boy. My brothers think I'm annoying, I think they're awesome. I'm a lifeguard whose mom can't swim. I love cheese, but don't cut it. I laugh at my own jokes. History Channel is the best. I am the boss at Cribbage. My ringtone is Ninja and I do the appropriate moves when it goes off. I can turn your frown upside down, so can Dr. Pepper. Swimming makes me burp. Brett Farve is an old geezer that needs to retire. My dog is a shedding machine. I can sew on buttons, but I hate needles. I'm clumsy but you can't prove it. I wanted to be a lawyer growing up and obviously, is the reason I always argue back. I find my self in sticky situations, literally. I have only had two nose bleeds. I love nightgowns and hate wearing pants. My dad snowblows while wearing shorts, gloves, a hoodie, ski googles, and a hat. My brother has more shoes than I do. I find Ke$ha to be an embarressment to Auto-Tune. Some of my favorite lyrics, "One, two, three, and to the four." A bad hair day is a routine. I shaved my eye brow when I was three and it hasn't grow fully back yet. Growing up, I usually forgot to wear underwear, but don't now. I have a low pain tolerance, but I like to sing. Give me a song and I will entertain you. I can't say my "ABC's" backwards, but I can say them forwards. Cabo San Lucas is my favorite place, but that's where my mom broke her collarbone. I love driving, but mostly on the interstate. I wish I was six feet tall, just so I could be the tallest of my family. One of my best friends is four feet eleven and a half inches short. I love dancing in the rain, but I need a helmet to do so correctly. I can sleep for days, but school gets in the way. My dream is to be on SNL, whether its as a comedian, guest host, guest musician, audience member, or streaker, it will happen. My name is Lyndsee. Boom.
This blog will help me find my purpose, show me who I am, and tell me where I am. :)

Money Grows on Trees, Right?
Hi, Lyndsee, how are you? What are you planning to do after high school? This question seems to be popping up more and more as my senior years comes closer to the end. In all sincerity, to all those people wondering, I have no idea. Although I my dream is to attend UNL, the tuition cost is now my enemy. How am I going to pay for this? I find that scholarships are more focused towards minoritys or those with financial difficulties, which is not me. My mom likes to say that I was born with a silver painted spoon in my mouth. My dad grew up with nothing, with has made him a hard worker to the extent that he is as far up in NPPD as he can go. I have found this to be a good thing, until college came into my mind. Now, about all my family can talk about it money. Every other sentence spoken is, "Have you applied to any scholarships lately?" I find myself in the middle ground, not poor, but not rich. That fact eliminates about half of the scholarships in Nebraska. Now all I can hope for is a flexible job next autumn and I attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and some handsome scholarships. Oh, and some hefty loans that I will have to pay off in about the next 10 years hopefully. Otherwise, I'm good, how are you?
